With the recent mishap and apparent locking up of our dude DJ SourMilk, we decided to do a limited edition tee to show our support for our boy. Proceeds from sales of the shirts will go to Milk’s legal fee’s. #free@djsourmilk
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. 1998 was a good year. This is the year that “3rd Eye Vision” was released. Now, my other half and I always debate on what track is better between “At The Helm” and “Dune Methane” and well… she’s not here to post for Way Back Wednesdays so I’m posting what I want to post! With that said, enjoy Del rip it on the best track next to “You Never Knew” from Hiero’s “3rd Eye Vision”.
Well… our boys did it again! Check out the latest Audiobigraphy from our fam the Los Angeles Leakers. This one features West Coast legend DJ Quik. If you haven’t heard any of the Leakers’ Audiobiographies there is no time like the present to start! The Audiobiography of David gives you a great insight to Quik while he reminisces over his past works and it’s all put together like only DJ SourMilk and Justin Credible can. Quik’s new album “The Book of David” drops on 4/20.
This is a mix DJSourMilk of the Los Angeles Leakers did for Boogie‘s birthday in 2009…and is still being played nonstop! Needless to say, its a mix that can be played at any bbq or anywhere you just want to sit back, relax and just listen to great music. By yourself or chillin with friends, we hope you enjoy this mix as much as we do!
Happy Soul Sunday y’all! Today’s song is one that we can listen to all day everyday. This is the perfect collabo of two soulful voices, one singing and one MCing. “Tell Me What We’re Gonna Do Now” by Joss Stone ft. Common is from Joss Stone’s album “Introducing Joss Stone” which was released in 2007. Enjoy!

16 years ago today a rap legend was taken from this world. We felt it necessary to recognize this and post one of his most recognized songs with the group N.W.A. Eazy-E is and always will be Gansta Rap.
Ahhh yes… the good ol’ days. This week we bring you a classic Black Eyed Peas joint off their first album “Behind the Front”. This album is a straight classic. I think I hit every one of their live shows here in L.A. and damn! They were super dope! I think they were the first hip hop group that I’d seen with a live band and at the time, they brought a different sound to the West Coast then we were used to.
Of course, this was way before Fergi Ferg and, the Peas had a totally different persona, or at least I thought. I was a hater when she jumped on but now that I’ve musically matured, I understand what they are doing. As long as they stay grounded and don’t forget where they came from I will always respect what the Black Eyed Peas do.
Our boy Reason is on his grind again! Check him out this Sunday at the Roxy along with special guest Joe Buys and DJ Addict providing the sounds. Pre-sale tickets available at iamreason.com
Big shouts out to Planet Asia for supporting and rocking the Soul End Theory tee during his Up All Night show at the Airliner last night! Thanks to our boy SerousDizL for snapping the pic with his cell.
