She sure was One in a Million, and taken too soon. Today we celebrate the life of the “Princess of R&B” Aaliyah Dana Haughton. With such an amazing short life, 10 years later we still listen to her music and it still touches our soul. Aaliyah definitely left an imprint on the music industry and will continue to do so in our hearts. Thank you Aaliyah…

This weeks Way Back Wednesdays comes from one of my favorite groups of ALL TIME. Yup, I said it in an earlier post this week and I’m saying it again. J5 is just super dope. I even got a custom J5 logo decal made for my ’87 Civic hatchback. This group was just amazing. The day that I heard they broke up, damn, I was crushed. Anyway, enough about my love for the group, enjoy Concrete Schoolyard from the Jurassic 5 EP that was released back in ’97.

Man…. I miss Jurassic 5.
