This weeks Way Back Wednesday pick is one of those timeless classics, whether it’s dedicated to someone special or just appreciated for what it is. This 1994 version by Meth & Mary is just as great as the 1968 original by Marvin Gaye & Tammi Terrell, and was the only female/rap collaboration to achieve sales of over 1 million sales in the 90s. Enjoy!
Super Dope! Sour Patch Kids tapped Wu-Tang Clan’s Method Man for their latest campaign. This video is just dope! The video features the sour then sweet kids that we’ve all grown to love. You can catch Meth on RapFix Live choppin it up with Sway, Wednesday at 4 p.m. ET on MTV.com.
Well, being that it is April 20th….and it just so happened to land on a Wednesday….we decided to go with Meth & Red’s “How High” on this Way Back Wednesday. “How High” released in 1995 was originally featured on the soundtrack to hip hop movie ‘The Show’, with the remix and b-side featured on their first collaborative album ‘Blackout!’ as well as the ‘How High Soundtrack’. We hope you enjoy our pick and have a safe 420!
